Islamic, Jewish, and Biblical burials, are similar, all follow Abraham in Bible:

-Enshrouding the deceased body.

It is important to determine cause of death first, before Sacred Burial. The body would be refridgerated.

medicines, possibly deceased may come alive like Lazarus did, it does happen!
Flowers, Music, Viewing
It is forbidden to hold an "open casket" viewing. This is considered disrespectful invading the deceased privacy.
Flowers are associated with joyous celebrations. For the same reason, music is not played or sung.
Placing a stone or pebble on a headstone indicates your respect for the deceased

What is Resurrection?
(Gen 3:19) Adam became God knowing good and evil. God evicted Adam & Eve, "before their a God of tree of life living forever". God sentenced you, "unto dust you will return to die". Until last trumpet, "blows in the Resurrection", to live forever. (Rev 11:15)
"When I die do I live again?
I will wait, till my change". (Job 14:14)
I'll explain to you the mystery; (1 Cor 15:51) we will be changed,...at the last trump.
In the days when the last is about to trumpet, the mystery of God will be done, said to his prophet Job. (Rev 10:7)
Last angel trumpeted; saying, this world is now kingdoms of our Lord Christ; he shall reign forever and ever. (Rev 11:15)
Death is determined by God as Creator. Your body is as sacred in death as in life. To be resurrected you must be buried in the ground, so you may return to the earth awaiting resurrection. (1 Cor 15:35-58, Rev 21, Isaiah 65:17; 25:8).
